Viroids

Plants fall victim to agents composed of NAKED RNA that are only 300 to 400 nucleotides long, called VIROIDS. The evidence is conclusive that viroids cause plant diseases, but the mechanism of pathogen city is not known. So far NO HUMAN viroids have been discovered, but it is considered a real possibility that they exist.
